Bis Industries is looking for a talented Technical Writer - Maintenance Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic team at Tomago.Why Bis?At Bis Industries, we are leaders in providing safe and reliable equipment solutions. We're seeking someone who can develop, refine, and maintain our internal procedures, ensuring our workshop teams have access to up-to-date, accurate work instructions that drive operational success.What You'll Do:Develop & Implement Procedures: Collaborate with Workshop Managers and the Training Department to create and refine procedures, integrating them into training programs to promote safe, efficient operations.Maintain Work Instruction Library: Ensure all workshop procedures are documented, current, and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS).Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for business improvements and support their implementation within workshop operations.Support Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate for Success: Work closely with key internal teams, including Training Coordinators, Safety & Sustainability teams, and Workshop Managers.Key Requirements:Must Haves:Bachelor's degree or trade qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial preferred) or a related field.Proven experience in a workshop or industrial environment, with a deep understanding of operations and equipment maintenance.Strong experience in developing and implementing internal procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.Knowledge of compliance standards, safety regulations, and QMS document control.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance workshop processes.Nice to Haves:Familiarity with underground mining equipment and associated hydraulic systems.Understanding of maintenance requirements for Explosion-protected Diesel Engine Systems (ExDES) and Flameproof systems.Knowledge of the JDE system.Why You Should Apply:You'll be part of a team that values safety and continuous improvement while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
