You will be a great team player with people management skills and the ability to bring out the best in others.Experience within a performing arts centre or venue with practical knowledge of event staging activities including stagecraft, lighting, audio, vision, flying, rigging and basic stage management procedures is essential.The Technical Supervisor is responsible for:Coordinate, manage and execute technical and production services for in-house productions, venue hirers and clients. Ensuring that all technical aspects of the venues and equipment are well maintained, and that client requirements are met satisfactorily with the facilities available.Engage and lead staff to support the technical requirements of the venues as required.Work with the Operations & Production Coordinator to ensure all operational aspects of the venues including maintenance and compliance are met.Oversee all technical aspects pertaining to the use of staging, rigging and associated theatrical and concert equipment across all areas.To ultimately, coordinate, manage and deliver the technical and operational aspects and services of Council venues so that the needs of users of the venues are met, primarily for but not limited to the TRECC, Capitol Theatre Tamworth, Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall and Tamworth Community Centre.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEEDDiploma or equivalent qualifications in Technical and Production Management of events and/or performing arts or equivalentDriver LicenceFirst Aid CertificateWH&S Construction Induction CardNational Certificate of Competency LicencesLF - Forklift truckEWP – Boom type elevated work platformWorking at Heights certificateRB – Basic RiggingElectrical testing and tagging certificateWorking With Children Check (WWCC)Immunisations COVID 19 or willingness to undergoINTERESTED?
