Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeReporting to our Technical and Quality Manager, this role will see you efficiently support BGC Asphalt with day to day technical support, ensure compliance and quality of testing as well as providing advice and support on technical data, trends and results.The key duties include:Create, monitor and review all specifications, mix designs and packages ensuring alignment with client and customer requirementsProvide regular advice and recommendations relevant to design changes, specifications, data trends and compliance with relevant Australian standards and Main Roads test methodsEnsure quality control testing of Asphalt is conducted and Inspection Test Plans are followedReview all BGC Asphalt test data to ensure accuracy, sign off and issue reportsMonitor and maintain compliance, database systems and statistical records of incoming and outgoing productsPromote and champion a harmonious team culture and safe working environment that represents the BGC values ('The BGC Way').About YouStrong technical knowledge about WA Asphalt industry, new trends, materials, technical specificationsExperience in laboratory asphalt material testing and mix designs (essential)Exceptional interpersonal skills, comradery and relationship buildingStrong time management skills and ability to manage competing tasks and deadlinesWhite CardForklift ticket (desirable)Minimum Advanced Diploma in relevant field of Materials Testing or Engineering.Even if you don't meet all of the above criteria, we still want to hear from you!About UsBGC's Materials Technology Centre is a centralized NATA accredited technology hub using the latest LIMS software, specialized purpose-built testing equipment and facilities to provide accurate and timely test results.
