Speno Rail Maintenance is seeking a Technical/Maintenance Document Writer to join our team in Perth.
This full-time role will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical and maintenance documentation to support our critical operations.
What you'll be doing Develop and update comprehensive technical manuals, work instructions, procedures and other maintenance documentation.Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to gather and accurately document technical information.Ensure documentation adheres to company standards and industry best practices.Manage the review, approval, and distribution of technical documents.Identify opportunities to improve the quality, clarity, and accessibility of technical documentation.Support the training of maintenance personnel on new and updated documentation.What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical writing or maintenance documentation role, preferably in the rail industry.Strong understanding of engineering principles, maintenance processes, and technical terminology.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly documentation.Proficient in using document management systems and desktop publishing software, specifically Adobe InDesign, Autodesk Inventor, CAD, and Mex.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.What we offer
