Bulls N' Bears is seeking an experienced journalist to take on the role of Editor working out of our offices at The West Australian Newspaper in Perth.
The successful applicant will have a solid background as a journalist and any experience as either a business journalist or mining writer would be a definite advantage.
You will have exceptional grammatical skills and ideally some understanding of public markets and ASX-listed companies.
Overseeing a team of polished analysts and journalists, you will hold ultimate responsibility for all content published online across multiple mainstream newspapers in all the major capital cities across Australia.
You will be responsible for editing and adding to the work of our senior analysts and journalists and you will also identify and initiate profile pieces on ASX-listed client companies that are doing interesting things.
Bulls N' Bears sits at the epi-centre of the ASX-listed small-cap company space in Australia and the successful applicant must therefore be able to converse and interact as a peer with public company CEO's rather than simply as a service provider.
Bulls N' Bears is the most prolific publisher of small to mid-capped ASX-listed public company news in Australia and whilst we mostly cover mining and exploration news, we also cover listed companies that operate in other sectors including health tech, agriculture, technology, biotechnology etc.
To be successful, you will have exceptional 'cut through' writing skills and a unique turn of phrase and most importantly, you will have amazing grammatical skills.
This is a full-time, Perth-based role working out of the Bulls N Bears offices at The West Australian Newspaper in Osborne Park with direct responsibility for the Bulls N' Bears editorial team.
Applicants from other Australian states will be considered and some moving expenses may be reimbursed.
