The Client & Role: We're currently working with an Australian utilities organisation, they are currently looking to bring on a Technical Business Analyst on an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend.
As the Technical BA you will be working across their Billing, CRM, Integration and Digital Technology Stream.
The role operates a hybrid work model with three days per week on site and the rate on offer is on a daily basis, up to $850 per day inclusive of super.
Responsibilities: Understand and review business requirements and translate these into technical requirements which align to the package (Salesforce, Mulesoft, CTI, Billing, Digital) functionality using best practice.
Work with Senior Technical Analysts, business SMEs and solution architects to provide high level solutions which meets the business objectives.
Work closely with Initiative Leads, business stakeholders to elucidate requirements from Feature to EPIC & Stories.
Practice agile principles to breakdown the holistic business objectives to smaller logical/deliverables chunks.
Work with Stream Leads and Platform Leads to deliver value quickly to production by reducing the delivery dependencies and have EPICs as technology independent as possible.
Partner with the Data Management and Analytics Teams to ensure technology solutions adhere to data quality requirements and meet stakeholder reporting objectives.
Partner with initiative owners to craft user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in support of agile delivery of technology solutions.
Provide demonstrations of and documentation for new features in the system/software.
Develop and provide training materials in conjunction with the Change team.
Work with teams to analyse business processes, procedures and user requirements in order to establish technical requirements, and ensure systems solutions support the defined scope of business requirements; Keep abreast of technical advances and the evolution of best practice in the domain and tech industry Adopt and implement innovative practices, tools, and frameworks to deliver better value.
Required Skills & Specialisms: Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate technical/professional discipline or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in Business Analyst role or equivalent Very good experience in one or more below mentioned systems as analyst CRM Billing Digital Technology Integration Experience in using Salesforce capability within large transformation programs, contact centre and or hands on exposure working with websites/portals, APIs/integrations, Data-Lake platforms or concepts Participation in delivery of IT projects in a complex environment, for multiple organisations Agile software delivery Demonstrated capability to fulfil all accountabilities of the role; A demonstrated commitment to values-based decision making; A collaborative approach with the ability to build effective partnerships within own team, across the organisation and with service providers; Strong influencing skills with the ability to listen, understand and modify positions to achieve mutually acceptable outcomes; Problem solving and analytical skills covering strategic, technical and complex operational problems in the context of ambiguity and change; Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised; Demonstrated capability in the implementation and adherence to methodologies and procedures for system life cycles; Knowledge of agile software development; and A track record in delivering outcomes Experience in working in a customer-centric organisation Knowledge of the Australian Energy market If you are a Technical Business Analyst with experience on Billing, CRM, Digital Technology or Integration, apply via the link provided.
