Your new role As Team Leader, Youth Services, you will play a vital role in Kids First's Victorian leadership team. Leading a team of youth practitioners, you will deliver high-quality, community-based services to support young people experiencing homelessness or community disconnection. This includes managing and developing a team, ensuring service standards, meeting reporting requirements, and fostering partnerships across the sector to promote Kids First's mission and values. This includes: Overseeing a team of up to 10 practitioners across multiple sites, offering supervision, training, and fostering a high-performance team culture. Ensuring adherence to practice standards, manage client feedback, and maintain compliance with Kids First policies and funding requirements. Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organisations, and philanthropic partners, to strengthen community impact. Managing program budgets, identify funding opportunities, and contribute to ongoing risk management and quality improvements. About you: You have relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Community Development, or Management. You're a confident people manager with at 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within youth or community services. You lead from the front with the ability to support each unique member of your team, with a commitment to professional development. You have a strong understanding of issues facing young people, including family violence and homelessness.
