Team Leader Workshop

Band 5 ($75,621 - $87,032 per annum, plus allowances)Permanent full-time9 day working fortnightAbout the Role This position will lead the professional delivery of high-quality service, repair and maintenance of Horsham Rural City Council's diverse fleet.
This includes a strong focus on the safe, economical, efficient and reliable management of the Council's plant and equipment assets.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Oversee the internal fleet maintenance program for Horsham Rural City Council (HRCC).Collaborate with other teams to minimise disruption to HRCC projects and programs.Perform service and maintenance on cars, trucks, road equipment, and other machinery.Ensure all small, motorised equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.Contribute to developing and maintaining a cost-effective, responsive service workshop that supports HRCC's overall operations.About You You will have a formal Trade Automotive (Mechanic) qualification that meets or exceeds Australian standards.
Proven experience in managing a busy maintenance workshop, handling a wide range of heavy plant, equipment and vehicles is desirable.
