Full-time ongoing Leadership role based in Thomastown; Wurundjeri CountrySCHADS Award Level 7.1 + 11.5% super + generous salary packagingEnjoy 3 days ex-gratia leave over ChristmasOptional monthly RDO accrual to nurture your work-life balanceThe Sexual Abuse Counselling and Prevention Program (SACPP) is a highly regarded program that provides specialist therapeutic services to children and young people up to age 18 who have been sexually abused and/or exhibiting harmful sexualized behaviours and support to their families. About the role Lead a team of clinicians who deliver innovative and evidence-informed interventions to children and young people who have engaged in or been harmed by sexually abusive behaviours and support to their families.Undertake expert clinical work with children, young people, and their families.Provide clinical and operational oversight to the team through clinical supervision and performance management, ensuring the program meets relevant service targets and standards.Participate in both individual and group supervision and reflective practice.Contribute to the growth and delivery of community development and promotion on various issues arising out of work to support, inform, and educate those working with the effects of sexual abuse and harmful sexual abusive behaviours.About You Hold a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or another related field.Demonstrated experience in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.Possess the qualities of an exceptional people manager.What's needed for your success An exemplified knowledge of and experience in the use of current theoretical approaches and best practices for working with children and young people.Proven ability to establish and cultivate valuable connections with individuals and groups, whether they are situated within or outside the organisation.Demonstrated ability to spearhead and facilitate transformative initiatives while actively participating in efforts to enhance quality within an organisational or operational context, as well as in situations involving families affected by sexual abuse.How we reward you Be part of an organisation that truly lives its values.Kids First understands the importance of flexible working and has a policy to support this.Be nurtured in your career, including professional development in specialist evidence-based models, such as Promoting First Relationships (PFR).Enjoy 'not for profit' benefits such as salary packaging to increase your take-home pay.We know how important it is to spend time with family, which is why you get 3 additional leave days at Christmas.Purchased leave and portable long service leave options.Access our Staff Wellbeing Program.Don't delay, apply now!
