You will design, develop and deliver regulatory learning and development programs, aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste. This is a senior role for an experienced regulator that wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. Working closely with the Manager, Regulatory Learning and Development, you will lead and manage a team through change to ensure a positive organisational culture and ensure the highest standards of performance and integrity are achieved; and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to deliver organisational outcomes.
In this role you will: As a senior member of the Regulatory Learning and Development Unit, lead and manage a team to achieve high standards of performance, accountability, collaboration, ethics, and integrity; manage the allocation of resources, budgets, business and project planning and reporting; and demonstrate a strong commitment to a positive culture and the development of staff.Design, develop and deliver the regulatory learning and development program to support the learning needs of internal and external regulatory decision makers, including both ongoing / required and targeted learning and development curriculum.Embed evaluation methodology in design and delivery of learning solutions to gather data to demonstrate return on expectations.Administer and oversight external learning and development providers, ensuring value for money is achieved by the EPA.Skills and experience: Senior experience in the development and delivery of learning and development programs, preferably within Government.Experience leading and managing staff. Ability to implement performance management and development frameworks that manage staff performance, build organisational capability, and support individual development objectives; create and promote an environment that appropriately balances teamwork and individual accountability; provides timely, constructive, and objective feedback.A proven record of achievement in a similar role which contributes to organisational excellence, high standards of performance and a positive organisational culture.Proven ability to apply relevant government legislation, regulations, reporting directives and procedures, to achieve optimal organisational outcomes.Click the "Apply" button to submit your application.
