We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic, dynamic, and dedicated individual to fill the position of Team Leader Program Management Office, Office of the Assistant Director General, Purchasing and System Performance on a permanent basis. This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time appointments. About the Team The Purchasing and System Performance (PSP) Division is responsible for overseeing and contributing to key functions for the Department of Health and WA health system; including system-wide health resourcing and budget, purchasing including service agreements with Health Service Providers; health service performance management and system wide analytics, health system modelling including demand and capacity, health care needs and economic modelling, procurement and contract management of state wide community services; data systems and support services including data linkage and data infrastructure support, information management and performance policy, data quality and assurance, financial operations including statutory reporting and cash management, financial performance, reporting, policy and reform.
The Assistant Director General (ADG) provides strategic direction and advice on matters within this portfolio and supports the Deputy Director General and Director General in the leadership and management of the Department of Health and the WA health system.
The Office of the Assistant Director General (OADG) provides administrative and operational support and strategic coordination for the ADG and PSP Division.
Your New Role Reporting to the Manager OADG, you will lead and oversee the Program Management Office for the Purchasing and System Performance Division. The successful applicant will be responsible for the leadership and management of project teams to develop, deliver, monitor, and evaluate a portfolio of strategic program of works, to achieve project outcomes and support achievement of the Department of Health's organisational objectives.
What are we looking for? The Purchasing and System Performance Division operates in fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Leader for the Program Management Office who will play a leading role in project support functions for strategic projects across the Division, such as preparing business cases and project plans; identifying, allocating and managing resources; reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and in line with project management methodology.
You will be expected to implement strategies to build capability and flexibility within your team, inspiring teamwork and encouraging personal development. You will be committed to upholding the Department's values and demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality.
