As the TLOC, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Groundwater and Rivers Operations Compliance Teams to drive excellence in uplifting compliance and enforcement practices.
This role will involve working across diverse locations, supervising the field Water Management Officers in the following West region:
West – South Australian border to the Moorabool basin and Werribee River, taking in major centres including Werribee, Geelong, Colac, Ballarat and Warrnambool.If you are a results driven leader looking for an opportunity to inspire change and elevate compliance standards, this role could be the perfect fit for you!
As the Team Leader Operations and Compliance, some of your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a geographically dispersed team, setting priorities, allocating resources, and monitoring performance to achieve outcomes.Interpret and apply relevant sections of the Water Act 1989 to meet SRW compliance objectives.Delivering high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing complex compliance issues, and providing guidance to promote adherence to water legislation and policies.Conducting regular meetings with direct reports, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and direction to ensure efficient and effective performance.About you The successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate some of the desired experience and abilities below:
Cert IV Government Investigation or equivalent qualifications.Demonstrated experience in managing and guiding a team to work collaboratively and drive successful outcomes.Extensive experience in investigations, compliance and enforcement in a legislative or regulatory environment.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and develop strategic solutions.Demonstrated ability to establish and implement effective processes to uplift compliance and achieve robust outcomes.How to Apply Applications should be made online by clicking 'Apply' before midnight Sunday 10 November 2024 or by visiting our website: www.srw.com.au
