The role
As our new Motor Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of Motor Claims Consultants.
You will:
Develop, coach, and motivate a team of Motor Claims Consultants including daily coaching to ensure Consultants maintain skills, competencies & provide a high standard of service
Prioritization and allocation of team portfolios including workload management
Conduct performance reviews and assist with staffing requirements & recruitment
Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point on complex claims and complaints
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Motor Claims operating model
Provide technical product, process, system, and compliance support
Maintain highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external)
Ensure Auto & General policies & procedures are adhered to
What experience you'll bring
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role with a customer-facing organization preferable with strong coaching experience
Experience with Motor Claims experience beneficial
Able to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Good attention to detail and problem resolution skills
Experience developing processes & procedures
Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate where required
