The role of the genU Team Leader - Residential Services is to provide leadership and operational management to our shared supported accommodation homes, ensuring an empowering and enabling environment for people with disabilities, whilst maximising opportunities for the attainment of personal goals and lifestyles that are valued by the wider community.
As the Team Leader you will: Proactively promote a welcoming, home-like environment for residents and a strong work culture for staff. Implement a partnership in care approach to enable optimal health and wellbeing for residents. Develop, review and accurately maintain all resident care/support plans in conjunction with residents, families and other service providers. Undertake program planning and monitoring. Ensure a person-centred approach is embedded within the facilities culture. You will join a collaborative and supportive team, who will provide individualised training so you can best support our varied cohort of residents.

You will be highly organised and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
You will have the following: Broad experience delivering services in the disability industry. Experience supporting people with complex support needs. Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred active supports for residents. Experience leading, managing, and providing remote team support to staff. You will also meet the following essential requirements: Minimum Cert IV in Disability Studies or equivalent. Current First Aid - Certificate II Level and CPR certificate. Current Working with Children's Check with current NDIS screening check.
