Team Leader - Family Violence

OVERALL SUMMARYJoin a team of skilled and dedicated staff who deliver crucial support services to vulnerable people experiencing family violence in the community. Reporting to and with the support of the Manager, you will be providing team leadership and reflective practice supervision to support staff, case managers and children and young people specialists. The ideal candidate is compassionate and collaborative and understands specialist family violence services with some leadership experience.RESPONSIBILITIES Operational people and performance management.Coaching, mentoring and supervision of staff.Participate in roster coordination, recruitment and selection process.Foster and nurture internal and external stakeholder relationships.Delivery of crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, case management and advocacy services to a small case load of complex clients. REQUIREMENTS Must hold a Bachelor degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or equivalent or meet the Rec 209 requirement for family violence specialists.
