About the role...
This opportunity is based in our Disability Employment Services (DES) program, which provides specialised support to people with disability, assisting them to navigate the world of employment.
Available due to an internal promotion, the Team Leader we are looking for is someone who is passionate about community support and inspired by people achieving outcomes and independence; and who enjoys leading and mentoring a team to deliver quality services.
Leading a small team of 8 across offices in Bankstown, Campsie, Maroubra, Paramatta and Hornsby, you may choose to base yourself at either our larger Bankstown or Campsie locations, travelling to your teams from time to time.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside 1 other Team Leader, your day-to-day role will include:
Ensuring the effective delivery of quality services through understanding and enhancing customer experiences, delivering and reporting on KPIs, data analysis and audits.
Developing your team - providing mentoring and supervision to identify opportunities, expand their knowledge and advancing their careers.
Supporting the strategic development of your portfolio through business and relationship development and maintaining relationships with customers and various agencies and referral pathways.
About you...
This career opportunity is ideally suited to candidates who have experience in Disability Employment Services (DES) or supports through the NDIS or other similar government funded programs.
This extends to candidates whose experience may be from an external 360-recruitment agency, or internal recruitment in a similar sector; similar work relating to consulting, placement and post placement support of people into employment, volunteering opportunities or student pathways.
You may be an experienced leader, or an emerging leader in this space who is looking for the next step in their career.
It may include experience in a 2iC position or a Senior role where you may have had opportunity to act in a leadership role previously.
The salary package on offer for the position ranges from $69-$74K + 11.5% Super + $18,550 Salary Packaging + Royal Rewards.
Any certificates or qualifications relevant to this sector or equivalent experience, will attract a base salary towards the higher end.
