In this role, you will oversee and support the individuals responsible for managing claims and ensuring our clients receive the best possible outcomes. With a strong focus on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a nationally recognised Employer of Choice.In this role you will ensure that Claims processes are managed effectively while adhering to various compliance processes.Additionally, you will be responsible for:Liaising with the Intake & Engagement and Claims team members.Training of new and existing Claims Officers.Invoicing and data entry into client management systems and NDIA Myplace Portal.Assisting with plan management accounts processes, including processing invoices, lodging claims, reconciliation of payments and resolving any discrepancies.Troubleshooting issues identified with payments.Responding to queries from providers and sometimes participants, regarding invoicing and payment requests via phone, email or face to face.To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills:Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to provide support, guidance and training to Claims team members as required.Ability to work constructively as a part of a professional team environment that is geographically spread.Ability to engage new participants to support the continued growth of are-able Plan Management.Efficient and effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and exercise initiative to offer solutions.Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in completing general administrative tasks.General knowledge of accounting principles.Experience in general finance administration, including reconciliations, creditor and debtor payments and invoicing.The Feel-Good PartsIf you've read this far, you already know that are-able is a community-focused not-for-profit organisation, but what does that mean?At are-able, the organisation's profits return to the communities we serve.
