Kent St Fixed Term Contract with a 35-hour working week 17.5% annual leave loading and flex leave Hybrid working environment, offering starting salary of $120,859 About the Role In this role, you will lead the stakeholder engagement team who deliver the service to workers and their employers who have been exposed to hazardous dust.

The Team Lead, Stakeholder Engagement will understand how illness impacts on daily living and identify when an individual would benefit from timely, proactive response and clinical attention. This role will use coordination and analytical skills to lead the provision and smooth delivery of icare services.

Lead and support stakeholder engagement team to deliver timely, efficient, friendly integrated services to the clients of the icare clinic, lung bus and external providers. Oversee and monitor the scheduling of the regional locations to ensure efficiency and coverage across NSW with small employers and high-risk industries in mind. Oversee the booking of the lung bus and the clinic to ensure optimum use of the facilities and available appointments. Collaborate with Clinical Practice and lung bus medical team to ensure alignment with screening strategy. Maintain and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure client objectives are achieved. Oversee the presentation of the health monitoring results to the reporting physician for decision. Create and implement endorsed actions to optimise service efficiency and effectiveness, including client experience improvement initiatives. Maintain knowledge of hazardous dust and compensable dust diseases. Contribute positively to the DDC team and leadership group, supporting the Manager Stakeholder Engagement as required Skills & Experience Critical reasoning skills to ensure a high degree of integrity in the decision-making process. Experience mentoring and leading a team, supporting the team to achieve the same goals. At least 5 years experienced as team leader Excellent communication skills – ability to build rapport and communicate complex information and create and nurture effective working relationships with all stakeholders Ability to set clear expectations and engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders in a clear and empathetic manner. Capability to work in a dynamic environment, supporting professional development and leading through change. Tertiary level qualification (e.g. bachelor degree) in relevant health, medical, counselling or disability discipline or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through extensive practical experience.
