Our client, a globally recognised leader in the investment banking sector, is seeking a highly competent and motivated Team Assistant to join their dynamic team on an initial 12 month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a team of investment bankers in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be provided with comprehensive training and ongoing support, with the expectation of quickly becoming self-sufficient.
Please note this role is only able to consider Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents, and will require the successful candidate to attend the Sydney CBD office 5 days a week.
What you'll do: As a Team Assistant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's investment banking team. Your ability to foster a cohesive work environment within the EA team will contribute significantly to the overall success of the division.
Provide extensive administrative support to a team of fourteen investment bankers Coordinate client and internal meetings, calls, and Zoom meetings across multiple time zones Process expense reports for bankers within strict deadlines Maintain team calendars including client meetings and contact information Coordinate travel arrangements for the team, including domestic and international flights and accommodation bookings Provide coverage for EA colleagues during breaks and holidays Actively foster a cohesive work environment within the EA team What you bring: Ideally 3-5 years of administration experience in a corporate environment Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel skills Ability to manage competing time-sensitive priorities and tasks High attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task Professional communication skills in person, on phone, via Zoom and by email at various levels Comfortable working with people at all organisational levels, internally and externally Proactive, punctual and reliable – together with flexible and positive attitude Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times What sets this company apart: Our client is renowned globally as a leading player in the investment banking sector.
