An opportunity is available for a Data Analyst to join our Financial Control and Reporting team in a temporary position for a period of approximately 6-months. This role will report directly to the Tax Manager and support the Head of Tax.
The key responsibilities include: Analyse applicable general ledger accounts to identify transaction which may give rise to fringe benefits tax (FBT) implications and categorise the transactions accordingly.Liaise with members of the Avant business to ascertain the nature of relevant transactionsCollate supporting documents and retain for record keeping purposesSupport the preparation of FBT workpapers and calculations.Assistance with the preparation of fringe benefits tax returns for the Avant groupAssistance with documentation of processes and controls.To be successful in this role you will have: Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables).Exposure to fringe benefits tax concepts (desirable).Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 (desirable).We prefer to deal with candidates directly.
