What you'll do: Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for tax compliance and advisory?
We're looking for a dedicated Tax Advisor to work alongside our Tax Manager to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our tax compliance, and tax accounting and reporting.
In this role, you'll play a key part in meeting Wesfarmers Group Statutory Reporting deadlines and delivering high-quality operational tax support.
Key responsibilities include: Collaborate with the Tax Manager to meet the tax compliance and accounting/reporting obligations for our Division.Deliver timely and accurate tax reporting to the Divisional Finance team and Wesfarmers.Provide high-quality operational tax advisory support to drive proactive business solutions.Enhance the profile of the Divisional Tax team by being an engaged and proactive business partner.If you're ready to make an impact and advance your career in a dynamic environment, apply now to join our team and contribute to our continued success!
What you'll bring: 4+ years in professional services (Tax Division or Business Services of Big 4 or mid-tier firm) at a Senior Tax Advisor level; practical experience with income tax returns, IAS 12/AASB 112, tax-effect accounting, statutory reports, and a working knowledge of GST and FBT.Strong foundational tax technical knowledge.Proficiency with SAP and ThomsonReuters Onesource Corporate Tax and FBT software is advantageous.Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.High organisation and attention to detail with excellent time management and deadline adherence.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments and a proactive approach to process improvements.Self-motivated with a curiosity to understand business strategies and objectives.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and the initiative to acquire new skills.Degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA qualification.Why us?
