As part of the tax team within RAC, your day will involve managing & reviewing tax compliance processes and working collaboratively with various leaders to provide tax expertise and guidance.
This position is being offered as a full-time opportunity on a 12-month Maximum Term Contract, based in our West Perth office with flexible working arrangements and close to public transport. Part-time options may be considered for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing: In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our financial processes, focusing on the following responsibilities:
Preparation and lodgement of income tax return fringe benefit returns for RAC entities Preparation and lodgement of ongoing BAS and PAYG Statements Assisting with managing statutory reporting obligations Providing tax advice and contributing to ad-hoc project work Managing and maintaining the Group's accounting and tax asset registers Completing monthly reconciliation of tax accounts Preparing and assisting with statutory tax effect accounting and reporting What Are We Looking For in You? We are seeking a dedicated Tax Accountant with the following qualifications and experience:
