As a Talent & Culture Business Partner, your primary role is to collaborate with business units and team members to ensure T&C strategies are being adhered to and align with company objectives. You'll play a critical part in developing and implementing the people plan, focusing on talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development and employee engagement. Your role involves fostering a positive work environment, and championing T&C best practices to support organizational success.
In the role of Talent & Culture Generalist you will promote and encourage T&C best practices across all areas of the business. You actively display the Company values as you act as the first point of contact for general Talent & Culture matters.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide support to team members and answer general enquiries via email and telephone.
Provide end to end recruitment and onboarding support to business units following company guidelines.
Conduct training to team members and business including onboarding and identified training needs.
Coordinate all employment-related paperwork and training and ensure it aligns with Company standards, procedures and compliance requirements.
Maintain an understanding of all T&C policies and procedures, ensuring they are correctly followed, and high standards maintained.
Keep up to date with employment legislation and provide sound award interpretation and advice to business units (Fair Work, NES).
Maintain data integrity for T&C systems ensuring accurate and up to date record management.
Support in the planning and execution of T&C programs and initiatives to ensure business needs and timelines are met (engagement surveys, succession planning, annual performance reviews, engagement initiatives).
Complete all Reward & Recognition administrative services.
Ensure compliance related checks (e.g. visa, police checks) on relevant employees are completed as required.
Work collaboratively with the Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate communication of employee related matters (e.g. new hires, changes, terminations).
Establish and maintain positive relationships with training institutions and industry partners.
In collaboration with your team, continuously review and refine T&C practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and employee experience.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Contribute positively to organization and team objectives and goals.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times and within the guidelines set by company policies and legislation.
Perform other duties as reasonably requested within your skill and capacity as directed by your manager.
