They specialise in the delivery of commercial civil, infrastructure, concrete, landscaping, roads and earthworks projects. The directors are well known in the local area and are building a great business with a strong focus on safety and client satisfaction. This astute contractor is now seeking to employ an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for leading project teams in all construction activities, ensuring activities are controlled and coordinated to the Client Standards.
Responsibilities Ensure appropriate operational, functional and management control processes are in place to achieve project objectives. Lead and guide the project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with the contractual documentation, company standards and procedures, including supervising and scheduling project activities. Control project programming, cost control, quality control, procurement, contracts administration, supervision, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors. Coaching, mentoring, and training of relevant staff and identify and develop staff within the department. Develop and review construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates. Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers and effectively manage their performance on projects. Responsible for monthly assessments and forecasts of project's financial performance. Review and evaluate project programs to ensure the project is being delivered on time and to budget. To be considered for this role you will have:
Degree in Engineering/Construction or equivalent. Strong experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects. Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management. Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts, specifications, Australian standards. Ability to deliver projects and manage stakeholders autonomously. Be looking to better themselves through working collaboratively with project and business staff to achieve both personally as well as for the business. Construction White Card.
