We have a current vacancy for a highly skilled and safety focused Qualified Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Setting out and installing hot and cold-water systems and associated equipmentUndertake Storm water, Sewer Installations'Rough-In' Water and Gas servicesStudying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials requiredDesigning and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixturesAssembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small-bore heating systemsInstalling sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systemsInstalling below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systemsInstalling gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devicesFabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashingsPenetration and inground service installationsFinal 'Fit off' and finishing installations with high quality workFollowing standard operating procedures, safety procedures and quality control methodsAbility to read and interpret plans/drawings SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: You must have a Plumbing License and/or other related industry qualificationMust have a sound knowledge of all tasks and activities related to new installations as well as a sound knowledge of the Plumbing Code and Australian standardsGas fitting Licence (preferred not essential)Strong experience in a similar role will be highly regardedSelf-motivated, problem solver & team playerBe punctual and reliable, well organised, tidy and efficientHave strong interpersonal & communication skillsBasic computer literacyYou must have the right to work in Australia (38 hours/week)You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if requiredYou have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process WHY JOIN US?
