The Role: BV is seeking an experienced Senior Solar/BESS Electrical Engineer. The candidate should have a high-level understanding of energy yield assessments and experience in design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants. This may include:
Budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract, and stakeholder management Supervision of construction Procurement activities Involvement in negotiation with EPC Management of industrial relations Key Responsibilities: Solar/BESS site visits, inspections, and RCAs High-level understanding of energy yield assessments Design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants Experience with EPC, O&M, and module supply agreement contract reviews Perform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of Solar and BESS Manage projects as the owner's or lender's engineer Knowledge of wind projects is a plus Manage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV's clients Maintain communication with engineers of other international BV offices, facilitating information sharing in electrical engineering for renewable energy plants Client liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress, and ensuring timely production of deliverables Participate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc. Any other tasks requested by the Engineering Manager Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Masters preferred Experience in consultancy environment as owner and lender engineer Solar/BESS farm site experience Ability to work under pressure Excellent report writing skills This role may require 20-30% travel The Benefits: We offer a competitive salary package and an opportunity to advance your career in a leading global organization, as well as:
