AvePoint is looking to support its continued growth in Australia by adding a Talent Acquisition Specialist to its team in either Melbourne or Sydney.

About the role:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at AvePoint, you will own the full recruitment life cycle of various roles across our sales, technical, marketing and corporate teams in Australia.

You will be a good fit for this role if you are passionate about recruitment and ready to understand how each person you recruit supports the long term growth of our business. You will also be agile in your approach to recruitment strategies. What your day to day will look like:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will act as an advisor for the teams you hire for by developing a strong knowledge of the talent pool we seek to recruit from and coming up with strategic and competitive ways to attract top talent to AvePoint. No day is the same at AvePoint, but your role will include:

Developing and maintaining relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their needs, create an interview matrix, provide market feedback, and consistently communicate updates throughout the interview process.

Becoming an expert in our business to effectively qualify candidates, provide ideas for workforce planning and

Leading and conducting intake meetings, sharing potential profiles from pipeline, defining the interview process, and sharing talent market intelligence

Maintaining a pipeline of candidates for future needs to reduce the time to fill

Acting as the first point of contact for all candidates

Conducting candidate screening interviews

Scheduling, tracking and communicating interviews with hiring managers

Maintaining relationships with your hires

Owning and executing on a talent acquisition strategy

Enabling our hiring managers and interviewers to provide an engaging and quality candidate experience

Utilising and maintaining our ATS, providing detailed notes and submissions on candidates, facilitating the interview/hiring process, and building our talent pools.

Integrating key data measures throughout the TA process

Championing AvePoint's EVP and culture through talent branding and hiring team advocacy in a meaningful way.

Collaborating with our HRBPs, L&D, Total Rewards and Talent Management team members to align recruitment to our overall talent lifecycle.

Contributing to the development and success of various talent related projects such as; DEI recruitment, employee referral program, and talent branding

Potential to take ownership for additional Talent initiatives such as Engagement Surveys, Talent Branding, Company Development programs

Be a local HR point of contact for the Sydney office with the potential to influence team development

The ideal candidate has:

5+ years of recruitment experience in high quality recruitment across Sales, IT and Product related roles

Entrepreneurial drive – able to come up with new ideas on how to recruit the best talent for our teams by integrating yourself into the business

Business minded - natural curiosity on how each role fits into the bigger picture of how a business operates

Ability to manage 8+ requisitions at a time and maintain a proactive pipeline with the goal to quickly fill positions once they open

Strong learning agility: keen to adopt and learn about the current talent market and industry best practices
