Newly created position - growing organisation 12-month contract About Our Client K92 Mining is a Vancouver, Canada headquartered, rapidly growing gold producer that owns the high-grade Kainantu Goldmine in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Since restarting operations in October 2016, K92 has delivered six consecutive years of gold production growth.
A key moment was in May 2017, when a near-mine infrastructure discovery of Kora North was made.
This discovery ultimately combined the Kora, Eutompi, and Kora North deposits to form one large deposit, collectively called Kora.
The discovery was also very high grade, and since declaring commercial production in early 2018, the mine has operated at a head grade of approximately 12 g/t AuEq, placing the mine among the highest-grade operations globally.
