All about the role
Menulog is looking for a combined role of talent acquisition and payroll functions to join our dynamic and high performing HR team in an environment that is flexible, operates in a start-up culture, experiencing rapid growth & is part of the multinational Just Eat Takeaway Group!
In this role, we're counting on you to:
Talent Acquisition
Work with line managers to understand hiring needs and to plan/prioritise recruitment drives accordingly
Manage end to end recruitment process - from writing and placing ads, to screening, shortlisting, coordinating and conducting interviews/assessments, through to reference checking and negotiating offer
Coordinate the offer and onboarding process alongside HR team
Be a brand ambassador, ensure a positive candidate experience, regardless of outcome
Payroll
Process payroll for approximately 250 employees in Australia
Ensure all employees are paid in accordance with the payroll schedule
Reconcile all tax and superannuation deductions
Manage and analyse our payroll data to ensure accuracy and provide key information to other teams in the business (eg. Finance).
Manage our payroll queries and ensure responses are timely and in a way that aligns with our values.

This is a hands-on role that requires a hard working, motivated & focused individual with excellent attention to detail and people skills. If you have the following skills and experience we would love to hear from you.
Self-motivated individual who thrives in fast moving environments
Previous exposure to payroll administration (ideal)
Excellent interpersonal skills – treats people with respect; is approachable, open and direct; develops effective working relationships with staff at all levels
Organised with strong time management skills
Professional experience in a fast-paced, adaptive environment
Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, "can do" attitude with the ability to adjust to changing priorities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a drive to succeed
High level of attention to detail with good analytical and numeracy skills
Interest in recruitment
