Reporting to the Systems Performance Manager, the role of the System and Asset Lead - Water Treatment is to ensure the asset management value chain is aligned, and its components fit for purpose across the Water Treatment portfolio, so that current and future infrastructure delivers regulatory requirements, customer and strategic outcomes, balancing performance, risk, and cost.
Key Responsibilities: Define the asset and system outcomes and requirements, including levels of service, willingness to pay, and performance requirements, ensuring their needs are incorporated in line with the customer/stakeholder engagement framework to support the delivery of business outcomes and achieve the corporate strategy.
Accountable for aligning the water system value chain and defining performance requirements and targets relating to the relevant product portfolio asset classes and systems to achieve system product, service, and performance outcomes.
Make decisions about the asset that ensures the Asset Operator is able to meet service expectations, driving service and customer-centric decision-making about assets that optimizes performance, risk, and cost.
Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus an appropriate post-graduate qualification in engineering, science, business, or a related discipline, or experience deemed equivalent.
Asset Management (or related) experience in industrial sector organizations.
Experience leading projects with complex requirements and considerations, and ability to support and evaluate investment business cases.
Team leadership experience and demonstrated ability to form and lead high-performing teams in a positive and constructive environment.
Demonstrated strong commercial understanding of quality/cost/risk trade-offs with a focus on short, medium, and long-term outcomes.
