The Position
Responsible for day-to-day systems administration, and provision of cross functional support to other areas within the IT department when required.
Key Role Responsibilities Maintain essential IT Operations, including servers, networks and business critical systems. Managing Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO's, Exchange. Management of system backups and storage. Monitor server logs and systems/network performance. Implement/upgrade critical business systems as required. Security patching of systems. Keep abreast of new technologies and advise on potential uses. General support to the IT Division as required The Person AGSVA Clearance – NV1 3 years' experience in a System Administrator role. Understanding of virtual environments including Nutanix, VMware and Microsoft Hypervisor. Knowledge of TCP/IP and network security. Understanding of ITIL Service Management Tertiary qualification or Diploma, industry certifications in relevant fields. Strong interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively to a diverse skilled audience. Understanding of change management disciplines.
