Position:Surveillance Officer - RoadsLocation:Mittagongstart:Immediate40 hrs pw$100 per hour + SuperOur government client is seeking a Surveillance Officer with a Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan ticket to manage surveillance activities on a road construction site in Mittagong area. The hours are 8am- 5pm but may sometimes require split shift hours (2pm-11pm).Key Accountabilities For This Role IncludeManage routine surveillance activities across a broad range of projects and maintain detailed site records of work performed and construction activities to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the quality systems and contract documents.Assess and report on the implementation of plans on-site and on contractor performance to ensure that management plans for construction site are appropriately implemented.Assist the manager in ensuring the consistent application of surveillance across the region by planning programs of surveillance of quality, WHS, traffic management and environmental management and monitoring progress of works, including the identification of non-conformance issues, and providing advice to the Manager.Verify that construction site activities of contractors and public authorities are performed in accordance with the applicable policies, practices and standards.Conduct safety and environmental management and risk assessments and safe work method statement reviews to ensure that work is completed in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner.Participate in the assessment of contract documentation such as Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), Environmental Work Method Statements, Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).The essential criteria for this role includes:Experience in implementing surveillance and monitoring compliance against standards.PWZTMP (Traffic Control - Red Card).Experience with iAuditor preferred.Possess a valid Australian motor vehicle driver's licence.White CardThis is assignment will run up until 30th June 2024 but has the potential to be extended.If you meet the above criteria and are interested in this excellent opportunity, then please click onApply Now.#J-18808-Ljbffr
