Kwinana Pigment Plant is a major hazard and dangerous goods processing facility and the ERC is primarily responsible for the provision of expert emergency response support and advice to the plant. The role oversees the sites Emergency Response Teams (ERT) and provide training and coaching for the continued development of team members.The successful incumbent will also oversee our sites physical security program, and play an active and supporting role in the injury management program. zKey responsibilities include:Play an active role in the identification of site risks and leads the development of emergency response capability (processes, skills and resources) to mitigate risks.Ensures arrangements are in place for maintenance, testing, inspection, and auditing the operability of the site's ER equipment.Coordinates site response to chemical spills, injury management, plant evacuation, search & rescue, fire-fighting, etc.Supports the day-to-day operations of the sites emergency response program and ensures compliance with company standards and regulations. Prepares and participates in Emergency and Crisis Management Drills.Develops Units of Competence for all aspects of emergency response undertaken by the Emergency Response Team.Coordination of site security and site security contractorsCo-ordinates and supervises external contracting company providers of training and equipment maintenance. Represent Tronox on the relevant Kwinana Industrial Council forums.
