Job DescriptionResponsibilities Personal care, group and individual social supportShopping for participantsRespiteTransporting participants to and from appointmentsDomestic assistance and meal preparationDesired Skills and ExperienceExperience working with people with disabilities or the elderlyAbility to work independently and within teamsRespect for the rights and dignity of participantsCertificate 3 in Disabilities or Aged CareDisability Worker Screening Clearance / Positive Notice Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)Current police check (or willingness to obtain one)First aid/CPR certificateFully vaccinated for COVID-19Driver's license with own registered, fully insured vehicleGood verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to resolve minor task-related problems, teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to learning and developmentWe offer Support Workers with flexible working arrangements within the following periods:
7:00 am to 8:00 pm: Monday to FridayWe deliver a wide range of services across the northside of Brisbane. We pay travel time and kilometers for all travel in between services.
