We are currently seeking experienced support workers to join our dedicated team at the Gold Coast to provide person-centred care to our participants.
As a Support Worker for Real Community Services, you will be supporting people who have complex and challenging disabilities to live independently as well as achieving their goals including to have a more valued role within their community.
About the Opportunity As Christmas approaches, we are currently looking for a team of casual employees to cover the Christmas period with the potential of ongoing work following the Christmas/New Year Period.
We are looking for support workers who are reliable, warm, respectful and dedicated. We are looking for passionate support workers who can build a strong relationship with our participants.
In this role you will be assisting individuals with various disabilities, helping them prioritise tasks as well as foster a supportive environment, this will help promote their independence as well as their personal growth.
Other responsibilities may include: Provide individual support and direct care to the participant Supporting the participant in the community Assisting with domestic duties to create a comfortable environment Medication assistance Providing accurate and detailed incident reports, shift notes and shift handovers Maintaining client records Qualifications and Skills Prior experience supporting clients' various disabilities Must have a valid driver's licence.
