We have a newly created opportunity in our marine team for a Support Craft Supervisor. As the first point of contact to the marine Support Craft team, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring operational requirements are met and all activities are conducted in a safe, efficient and compliant manner in line with all regulatory, contractual and safety standards.
Operationally focused, effective and great with people: here's who we're looking for. You are a vessel master with tug and barge and dredging/bed leveling experience. You have a marine technical background, are highly organised with excellent administration skills.You have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and are able to role model and promote Port of Brisbane's Safety-First health and safety culture.You can build rapport with the crew and communicate effectively.You are driven to deliver results and take accountability for all assigned work.You are resilient and enjoy working within a small team environment.You are savvy with systems, and you continuously search for the best solution!This bit matters!
