Journey Support Services is growing since our launch 4 years ago and is looking for its next team member to join our experienced Support Coordination team. JSS was founded in March 2021 as a registered NDIS provider with the focus of building a team of Specialised Support Coordinators that can draw on a variety of diverse backgrounds to meet the complex needs of a variety of cohorts.

- Payment of 0.99c per km for work related travel.

Essential Requirements for Role,
- Clear Working with Children Check and NDIS workers Screening.
- Open Drivers Licence
- Minimum 2 Years transferable relevant sector experience (Child Safety, Mental Health, NDIS Service Delivery etc.)
- Minimum diploma level qualification (Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Mental Health etc.)
Selection Criteria
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating integrity, initiative, tact and discretion with ability to deal effectively with conflict and management of stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency to undertake administrative tasks as required for the role. Such tasks include outcomes reporting, basic accounting skills, and CRM.
- Provide outcomes focused and person-centred support to NDIS participants, enabling them to achieve capacity building outcomes in line with their personal and NDIS goals.
- Ability to work autonomously and show initiative in solving complex problems within an NDIS participants social context and stakeholder group.
- Understanding of recovery-oriented, consumer-focussed peer support model to assist participants with a psychosocial disability (Highly Desirable)
