You will need to be enthusiastic, easy-going, and have a sound understanding of the NDIS.As Support Coordinator, you will focus on collaborating and assisting people with disabilities predominantly in the Brisbane region. Your responsibility will be to ensure the implementation of participants' plans and the achievement of their goals, building better outcomes for the lives of the participants you support.Your skills and knowledgeExperience in Support Coordination, case management, or a similar role.Knowledge of practice and guidelines as they relate to the NDIS.A sound understanding of and experience in providing/coordinating inclusive community-based services for people with disabilities.Experience in assisting management of complex enquiries with competing priorities and deadlines.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant humanities field are desirable.Initiative, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyse problems and provide meaningful solutions.A current Driver's License and use of a roadworthy vehicle.Key facts about the position:Full-time, salary is based on the Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 Level 4 (Pay Point Range 1–4).
