Supply Coordinator Ravensworth Operations The Operation:
Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long mine life. We are a large, dynamic mine committed to delivering safety and performance. The Location:
Ravensworth Open Cut is ideally located in the NSW Hunter Valley near Singleton, 70 km north-west of Maitland, and 90 km north-west of Newcastle.
The Role:
We are looking for a motivated Supply Coordinator to provide strong leadership to the Supply Department and to ensure that all functions are effectively performed. As an integral member of the commercial leadership team, you will drive a high-performance culture, role modelling and reinforce the Glencore values and behaviours that will underpin the success of our operation.
Reporting to the Supply Superintendent, you will be primarily responsible for;
Managing the execution of all supply activities.
Implementing programs and initiatives in accordance with the organisation's values and commitment to continuous improvement.
Supporting the strategy for the operation by appropriately resourcing the business plan to achieve current goals as well as sustainable levels of future performance.
Ensuring compliance with regards to all legal, legislative, regulatory requirements and all relevant company policies, procedures, and processes.
Driving a proactive and safety conscious culture across the site.
Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff for succession planning. The Successful Applicant:
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or other related qualifications (e.g. CIPS).
Have experience in leading and managing a diverse team dynamic.
Have extensive experience and knowledge of the warehousing and inventory disciplines.
Knowledge of procurement activities.
Have previous exposure with a large ERP system (notably SAP) would be advantageous.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
Have a high commitment to safety strong business acumen with high attention to detail and a customer service focus.
