Become an integral part of our Operations team, working closely with the Senior Commercial Specialist. This is a role where you can make a significant impact, taking the lead in the development and review of Supplier & Vendor Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Inventory Management, and Contract Management.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a Procurement/Logistics Management roles in the mining industry. Contract Management, Risk Management, and Budget Management experience. Super user experienace in the PRONTO ERP software. Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, optimising supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Strong familiarity with mining supply chain dynamics and associated spend categories. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, implementing measures to minimise risks and promote a safe working environment. Develop and implement supply chain strategies, coordinating with departments to meet supply needs and schedule procurement activities. Manage critical inventory and evaluate suppliers for best value, negotiating contracts and agreements. Oversee inventory control measures, including inventory levels, reorder process, and transportation of materials. Develop and manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, identify areas for process improvement, and prepare regular reports on key performance indicators. Requirements include a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field, advanced skills in Pronto, strong knowledge of procurement processes and logistics, excellent negotiation and communication skills, familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
