Offering specialised handling and transport services to the airfreight, airport, and airline industries at a local and national level.   Wymap People are seeking an experienced Project Logistics Coordinator (Drilling) for our global oil and gas provider in WA.   Position Overview:   We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Logistics Coordinator (Drilling) to join our client ASAP.   The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safe, reliable, and efficient logistics services in accordance with regulatory standards, company protocols, and campaign requirements. This position requires strong leadership abilities and the capability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and personnel across various locations.   Key Responsibilities (but not limited too): Supervise and coordinate logistics operations on the drilling rig, ensuring safety and efficiency. Interface with Drilling Supervisor, Perth, supply base drilling logistics teams, and service contractors to mobilize and demobilize personnel, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently. Develop, establish, adjust, and document the timetable for designated support vessels or supply base services to align with the schedule of campaign sites and the logistical plan of the campaign. This includes coordinating port and supply base schedules, berthing arrangements, mud plant operations, bunkering activities, crew changes, maintenance tasks, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, propose modifications to schedules in cases where a shared fleet is in operation. Maintain and distribute drilling operations look ahead and coordinate cargo operations at the drilling rig. Prepare vessel deck plans, cargo load out and discharge instructions, and oversee vessel cargo operations. Coordinate vessel-related activities, including pre-lay moorings, rig move operations, and marine scope planning across multiple port locations. Drive broader business cost reduction initiatives through sound resource management. identify and implement technical improvement initiatives for drilling logistics operations. Monitor and assess the expenses and efficiency of designated site services to achieve the campaign supply network's key performance indicators (KPIs), such as optimizing vessel scheduling to minimize carbon footprint and expenses, utilizing Kabal alerts to manage rental costs, evaluating site logistics performance alongside other sites, and suggesting improvements where necessary   Skills and Experience: 5+ year in Supply Chain and Logistics supporting drilling, completion, subsea or other project end to end activities. Relevant experience preferably at a supervisor level or proven leadership experience in another industry ie defence, emergency services, iron ore. Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office Required licences and certifications (Dangerous Goods by sea & air (IMDG/IATA) and MSIC. Relevant experience with digital logistics software for materials (SAP and Kabal) and personnel movement (VPoB or Kabal) or equivalen.t Previous Project Manager experience. Ability to commit to a FIFO Roster.   The contract will be ongoing with a minimum of 6 months. Paid on a day rate at above market rate, the start date is ASAP. All flights paid for.
