Our mission drives us, and we want you to be part of the journey.About the OpportunityCouncil is seeking a Supervisor Regional Venue Hire & Showgrounds to work closely with stakeholders overseeing the facilitation of all events and activities at Council venues.You will be:Leading the management of the regional venues team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships, as well as, source new customer and strategic partnerships, including individual, corporate and community.Providing professional supervision for venue bookings by maintaining a high level of focus on event requirements.Developing and maintaining marketing strategies and communication plans for venues utilisation across the Western Downs region.Fostering a collaborative team spirit focused on service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.Liaising with hirers to ensure events across all venues are facilitated in accordance with customer needs, venue guidelines and Work Health and Safety requirements.About yourselfA person in this position will need to hold a relevant Diploma in either Business Administration, Event Management or Communications and Marketing or in a related field, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience.
