About This Role
An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor CHPP at our Maules Creek Mine. To efficiently manage and provide leadership to the work groups of Maintenance Execution teams to ensure performance targets for plant are achieved in a coordinated, cost-effective, timely, and safe manner.
What You'll Do
Ensure maintenance activities prioritise safety, through effective hazard identification and risk management.
Major Outages & Shutdowns are run "on time" and minimise Mean Time to Failure after Shutdown through Quality Assurance.
Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and developmental activities to members of the team driving a positive workplace culture.
Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies.
Provide technical support to contracts and warehouse personnel for procurement and management of parts.
What You'll Bring
Tertiary Mechanical Trade Certificate with NSW certificate of proficiency.
Extensive demonstrated experience in the mining or heavy industry or processing plant with strong working knowledge of Maintenance, Planning, and CMMS.
Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation with excellent presentation and reporting skills.
Current Unencumbered New South Wales "C" Class Drivers Licence.
