Mt Arthur South has just signed a 6-year contract extension and is located in Muswellbrook NSW.
About The Role We are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Drill and Blast to control blasting operations on-site and be responsible for the coordination of drilling activities at Mt Arthur South.
In terms of Drill and Blast, Mt Arthur South is mainly a through seam operation utilising electronic initiating products.
Mt Arthur South is also leading the way in autonomous drilling, the first of its type in the world.
Thiess delivers a full service in mining operations including mine planning, overburden and coal removal and D&B.
Working a Mon-Friday Day Shift roster initially and moving to Lifestyle 4/5, 5/4, 5/5 day shift your duties will include:
