Reporting to the Senior - Air Quality and Noise Advisor within the HSEC Department, you will supervisor and lead a team of air quality controllers to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Mount Isa Mines Air Quality Control (AQC) Centre. Working as part of a large air quality management team you will be supervising the team of Air Quality Controllers to manage air quality systems and providing instruction to operational areas to drive positive environmental outcomes.Your key responsibilities include:Practical application of technical knowledge on air quality to ensure compliance, address risks and drive improvements in air quality management.Effective leadership of a team of air quality controllers to manage air quality risks and deliver on commitments.Provide a high level of support and collaboration with operational partners to facilitate effective environmental and compliance management.Manage the AQC centre to achieve compliance with the Environmental Authority and minimise operational impacts through applying meteorological knowledge and control strategies for operational emissions.Management of assigned tasks to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.Effective data management, analysis, interpretation and reporting.Management and development of current AQC processes through review with key stakeholders and implementation with thorough communication.Drive AQC preliminary incident investigations and assist in implementation of corrective actions.Ensure timely and adequate rostering of controllers to ensure continued AQC operation.Assist with annual regulatory reporting requirements.
