Head Of Research Development

Job DescriptionThe Head of Research Development is a senior leadership role, responsible for supporting the identification and development of major research grant and fellowship opportunities that build on the University's research strengths and align with research priorities.  The Head of Research Development will manage the University's Research Development Management Team to deliver high quality services and support to research teams pursuing major research funding. Working closely with key partners, the Head of Research Development and their Team will build relationships and capacity for Griffith University to lead major national or international funded research initiatives and collaborations.About youThe successful candidate will hold postgraduate research qualifications, have extensive relevant experience in developing major research funding bids and possess a proven ability to build productive relationships with collaborators, government agencies and prospective partners, or have an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and/or training/education.What we can offerThis is a full-time, fixed term (5 years) position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
