We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Team leading a team of Supervisors on a Shutdown on a chemical plant in Central Queensland.
As the Superintendent , you will be responsible for delivering high quality services to this project and provide supervision and coordination as directed by the Project Manager.

This role is required to commence immediately as part of the Shutdown planning phase on a FIFO or DIDO roster with execution scheduled for late January 2025.

Key responsibility areas
Ensure correct material, machinery, equipment and personnel are available and suitable for completion of work.
Responsibility that Supervisors and all labour are suitably trained and possess the necessary skills to undertake their designated responsibilities.
Assessment of risks and hazards involved in tasks, and methods to manage the hazards to prevent incidents, injury and damage.
Maintain daily timesheets for labour and equipment.
Plan and coordinate resources and equipment for Outages and conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that Company procedures are followed.
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience in maintenance or shutdown projects, preferably in Chemical Plants or similar.
Experience in planning Shutdown and Pre-Shutdown activities.
Solid communication and written skills with the ability to establish clear lines of control and delegation.
Be approachable and tactful with good time management skills.
Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members.
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and Outlook.
