Senior Financial Accountant – Brisbane

The Position: We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to manage the Company's finance activities.
Working closely with the Company Directors, this role is responsible for: Day-to-day financial operations of the business, including accounts payable & accounts receivable Closing of monthly/yearly financial accounts Invoicing and management of debtor processes Statutory compliance preparation including PAYG, FBT, BAS, Payroll Tax & Eo FY reporting Financial reporting including debtors, P&L, balance sheet, cashflow forecasts etc Operational expense management Providing accurate financial data to guide strategic decision making Liaison with external Bookkeeper & Accountant Improving & further automating existing processes What you'll need to succeed: Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial accounting role CPA/CA Qualified Strong knowledge of taxation law & employment taxes High degree of competency using Xero, MS Excel & MS Office suite Professional Services experience preferred Experience using Workflow Max, job management software, an advantage Confidence communicating with management, staff, clients & external stakeholders Demonstrated decision making & problem-solving skills including the ability to plan, prioritise & meet financial deadlines, working flexibly & cooperatively as part of a team Applications for this position can be sent to and must include a PDF resume along with your covering letter.
