About the role:
As you will be primarily working on Substations, it is vitally important that you have experience working on similar types of projects and have very strong skills when it comes to procurement strategies and programming. We are looking for an energetic PM who has what it takes to motivate their team on various exciting and fast-moving projects in the unregulated sector. You must be a critical-thinker who is constantly working on innovative ideas for project execution all while managing a budget, quality assurance, and risk management.
To be considered you must have the right to live and work in Australia with no restrictions, coupled with 2 years experience on substation projects in Australia.
You will need the following: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field. Project Management Certification is highly desirable. Strong Procurement and Programming ability. Demonstrated experience working on a number of high voltage electrical projects. Excellent leadership skills – inspire, motivate, and mentor. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a senior role, managing complex projects from initiation to completion. Proficient understanding of workplace health and safety, including QA and risk management. Stakeholder engagement – build relationships and manage expectations Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage ambiguity, and work effectively under pressure.
