Position Outcomes / Accountabilities Project Assurance: Exercise independent professional judgement to plan, procure, implement and monitor road and bridge works to achieve project scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits. Project Monitoring: Undertake research and analysis to prepare, monitor and report on the physical and financial status of projects, and develop innovative responses to improve project outcomes and project processes. Construction and OH&S Advice: Apply competence in road and bridge design, construction and maintenance practices and standards to prepare and administer contracts for works. Quality and Risk Management: Exercise independent professional judgement to anticipate and assess potential project risks, undertake/coordinate complex risk assessments and develop necessary mitigation plans. Community Engagement: Establish and maintain good working relationships with DTP internal teams, Councils, other government departments, and stakeholders, including alerting management on emerging issues. Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations. Key Selection Criteria The ideal candidate excels in Project Delivery, defining tasks, coordinating execution, monitoring progress, and taking corrective actions. Qualifications and Experience Mandatory Engineering, project management, or similar, tertiary qualifications Victorian Driver's License: The role requires the incumbent to travel and do site visits within Metropolitan Victoria.
